Popis: | 106 Using a Truku primary school as case, this study investigated the status, plight and outcomes of implementing “school-based curriculum featuring indigenous education program” under the “Council of Indigenous Peoples (CIP). The methodologies of analysis of relevant implementation documents, researcher’s observation and Semi-structural Interviews were applied to engage in this study. Accordingly, findings were concluded as follows: 1.Ethnic education curriculum indicated Multi-Cultural Education Ideal. 2.Development of ethnic education curriculum, attach great importance tocommunity characteristic, which enhanced self-identity and building confidence. 3.School, community and government are three powerful elements to action the plan of ethnic education curriculum. Based on the conclusion of this study, the following recommendations: First, recommendations for Government: 1.Government should consider ethnic education curriculum programs sustainable development policy for schools of indigenous areas. 2.Government should conduct “extension activities for network resources” and “teachers training program” at communities and schools. Second, recommendations for Indigenous Schools: 1.Enhance teacher's skills of planning ethnic education curriculum. For ethnic education curriculum design, which should consider as spiral curriculum. 2.Ethnic education curriculum should conform to manpower cultivation and human resource development for increase national competitiveness. Third, recommendations for community: 1.Encourage cooperative participation and develop ethnic education curriculum. 2.Community should respect the core values of culture, develop cultural and creative industrial and be consistent with ethnic education curriculum. 3.Ethnic education curriculum design, should consider as spiral curriculum. And forth, recommendation for future research: 1.As for research field, may expand from various perspectives. 2.Research on NGO's contributions to ethnic education. |
