A Study on the Relationship Between Quality of Work Life and Turnover Intention with Child Care Workers in Infant

The main purpose of the study is to understand the relationship between quality of work life and turnover intention with child care workers in infant care centers of the current situations,and according to various background,to discuss the differences and the similarities of them. The objects in this study are the qualified child care workers in infant care centers of New Taipei City.300 child care workers were drawn for the questionnaire of “quality of work life and turnover intention with child care workers in infant care centers”. There are 300 questionnaires; 260 questionnaires are valid;effective response rate is 87%. The resulting data were analyzed with SPSS20.0 statistical software, using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson. The findings are shown as follows: 1.The perception of quality of work life with child care workers in infant care centers is intermediate. 2.The perception of turnover intention with child care workers in infant care centers is lower intermediate. 3.The child care workers of different age, marriage, children, education level, major subject, seniority, organization monthly expense, calssroom type and organization scale are significantly different in quality of work life. 4.The child care workers of different age, marriage, children, organization monthly expense, calssroom type, teacher-student ratios and organization scale are significantly different in turnover intention. 5.The quality of work life and turnover intention with child care workers in infant care centers are significantly negative correlation. Finally,this study is based on the results of the research,having further suggestion for authorities,infant care centers,child care workers and the future researches as reference.
