The Study of the Cognition Degree in Exercise Drugs of the People Living in the Communities

Purposes: The purpose of the study was to understand the cognition degree of people who purchased and used drugs for sports injury in community pharmacies. The major research contents were the cognition degree of using drug for sports injury, the satisfaction of consulting pharmacies, and the service quality of pharmacies. Methods: The researcher adopted the simple random sampling. Based on the surveyed-questionnaire method, there were 53 questionnaires issued and retrieved in pre-test, and 45 of them were valid. The valid response rate is 84.9%, and there were 513 questionnaires issued and retrieved in formal test, and 468 of them were valid. The valid response rate is 93.9%. The researcher used the SPSS 12.0 as the statistic software to analyzing the data of the study. Results: The results of this study were that the men’s cognition degree of drugs for sports injury had significant differences with women’s. The satisfaction of consulting pharmacies and the service quality of pharmacies influenced positively and significantly the cognition degree of the people who purchased and used drugs for sports injury in community pharmacies. Conclusions: To increase the cognition degree of the people who purchased and used drugs for sports injury, it should be focus on the satisfaction of consulting pharmacies and the service quality of pharmacies. The suggestions as follows: 1. The pharmacies provided automatically the consultation for drugs, and reminded the patients about using methods and contraindications. 2. There were conspicuous informations about the drugs on overwraps of the drugs.
