Popis: | 104 Establishing a brand is a systematical process. In order to stand out among countless fashion brands, Building great brand identification becomes a key norm for a successful brand. A long-lasting fashion brand is recognized and identified with the general public through, besides logos and marketing strategies, more importantly, a distinguishable and sustainable fashion style. The style and tonality of a fashion brand is shaped by acknowledge of brand style and seasonal inspiration of its designers. Though fashion trends are developed every season based on various people, incidents, time and objects, for a successful fashion brand, the brand style is identified by its seasonal garment style, silhouette and fabric, eventually by the final performance to present its uniqueness. To construct and extend the style of a brand, customizing the garment pattern and basic pattern for its target groups accordingly to the brand story and identification is an inevitable ingredient. This thesis will discuss the establishment and application of the style of a fashion brand pattern. It will explore the most brand-identifiable fashion contours in diffident fashion silhouette, as well as find the most representative fashion silhouette from garment basic pattern of target group; where the garment basic pattern of a fashion brand style is founded. This paper will conclude with how to apply the process and method of changing actual fashion design based on garment basic pattern.
