Heart is a very important organ that supply all needed blood in human body. However, due to diet and lifestyle change in the modern time, heart disease mortality has risen in the past three decades, and has remained the second of the 10 leading causes of death over recent years. Coronary artery disease is the most common of all the heart disease. The inspections are expensive, time-consuming and intrusive. If assess coronary artery stenosis symptoms effectively at a cheap, quick and non-invasive detection methods, it can provide early detection and treatment of coronary artery disease. In this study, we used Electrocardiography(ECG), Blood Pressure Waveform(BPW), and Laser Doppler Flowmetry(LDF) to detect blood flow characteristics of cardiac, arteries to vascular peripheral circulation, in order to analyze the induced physiological variation of coronary artery disease. Subjects prior to cardiac catheterization were measured as the M0, and were divided to two types of results; for the group A, they must be fitted with stent and for the group B who do not need the stent, compared to group C composed of normal subjects. In addition, data for three to five months after M0 (M2) were also measured, including blood pressure of radial artery and the blood flow of Hoku, by performing analysis in time and frequency domain. The results indicate group A, B compared with group C have significant or nearly significant differences in some parameters. Some parameters were also noted to be different between the M0 and M2; it may become the treatment effectiveness evaluation of disease. The system used in this experiment have advantages, such as non-invasive measurement, simple measurement, low risk, stable physiological signal performance, low cost, and may thus save human resources and health care costs in clinical applications.
