Popis: | 104 In this study, the conductive polyelectrolyte composed of a 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene derivative, EDOT-SuNa, was used as stimuli-responsive surfaces. When these thin films were electrochemically oxidized, the films detached from the underlying electrode. Two approaches were attempted to synthesize films of different compositions: electrochemical copolymerization and layer-by-layer deposition. By adjusting the film compositions, the detachment process could be varied. To evaluate the properties of these polymer films, we immobilized cytochrome c as the redox reporter to verify the electrochemical activity of these conductive polyelectrolyte films. The conducting polymer with negatively charged functional groups presented good redox signals. However, the redox signals were not observed on polymer films without negatively charged groups. Cytochrome c then can be detached together with films by applying a positive potential, which allows the recycle of the substrates. Therefore, through the controlled release of polymer films, the cytochrome c can also be repeatedly immobilized and released. The redox signals of first-time immobilized cytochrome c matched well with the signals from second-time immobilized cytochrome c, indicating the substrate can be reusable. |
