To solve the problems of detecting underground objects and pipelines or operational space, etc. on the road construction, the traditional solution is using the way of open-cut or drilling. But this way is time-consuming and labor-intensive, large requirements, easy to produce noise, even causing damage to the pavement structure and pipelines, and impede traffic, etc. Therefore, a simple and effective non-destructive inspection method is demand. Ground penetrating radar method is a non-destructive inspection, it is widely used in the geophysical survey to delineate the underground layers, the distribution of underground pipelines and the mineral exploration, etc. due to its good resolution. This study will delineate the underground pipelines both location and types in some selected roads. The results were verified, the results will provide the future reference by pipeline construction.
