Popis: | 103 The purpose of this study is to investigate educators' teaching pattern during 30-minute gross motor movement course in preschool. By using observational record of physical educator’s teaching behavior (ORRPETB), two kinds of teachers including three preschool teachers and three children’s exercise and game teachers were observed. The teaching pattern of each teacher was repeatedly observed for 8 times and all data were gathered and analyzed using chi-sqaure test. Results of this study are shown as follows: 1. Analyses based on individual teacher: In teacher behavior level, direct teaching, class managing and feedback were major behaviors. In interaction level, class interaction was mainly observed. In climate level, activity time was mainly provided to children. The teaching pattern was similar to previously reported effective teaching pattern. 2. Analyses based on two kinds of teachers, preschool teachers and children’s exercise and game teachers: In teacher behavior level, direct teaching, class managing and feedback were observed in both kinds of teachers. In interaction level, preschool teachers and children’s exercise and game teachers have mainly class interaction following by individual interaction. In climate level, activity time was mainly provided by kinds of teachers. 3. Chi-sqaure test was used to analyze teaching patterns of preschool teachers and children’s exercise and game teachers. In teachor behavior level, children’s exercise and game teachers had significant higher monitoring behavior than preschool teachers (p < 0.05); in interaction level, group interaction provided by preschool terachers was significantly higher than children’s exercise and game teachers (p < 0.05); climate level was not significantly different in these two kinds of teachers. |
