There is even no chance for Tainan residents to take a look at the picturesque, artistic building. Most school authorities with historic sites on campus tend to rebuild them for administration purposes. To make the historic site alive, our school makes use of varieties of marketing, combining multimedia with curriculum to express its beauty to the students, staff, and even Tainan residents. By the chance, people learn to love and protect the precious historic site. The study aims to activate historic sites on campus. Take the red building at Chang Jung Girls’High School as an example. The motivations for the study are to design curriculum for students to better understand to their school and to acknowledge their lives can be mixed with the red building. The theory is used to analyze data and the way to establish theory. Story creativity from sophomores of Department of Media Design, expression skills, and cooperative learning strategy on the website where the curriculum have been performed for crossing curriculum for half of a semester. The research method uses historical comparative approach to design curricula and to promote story creativity for sophomores of Department of Media Design about the history and structures of red building. Through learning the knowledge, students can express their drawing skills. 2. Students are divided into groups to investigate and solve problems. They make use of cooperation learning strategy to promote communication among classmates and interaction with teachers. Gradually, students become the dominators, while the teacher is a conductor. By designing a labyrinth based on the red building, students work in groups to study and work out solutions, which turn their indifference to passion. Both words and drawings connect students to the red building in order to inspire much more cultural values and creations. 3. Through the teaching design and strategy performed by the study, teachers will have good command in their teaching toward students who use tools for self-learning. At the result and discussion, this study recommend that related researches can be investigated to activate historical sites and the application of artistic design and teaching.
