Two-stage Differential Cycloidal Speed Reducer with a High Reduction Ratio of the Dynamic Simulation Technology Research

Popis: | 103 This research used Two-stage differential cycloidal speed reducer (CPD-105-v2) provided by ITRI as an example, proceed kinematics analysis (by ADAMS Mutibody Dynamics) first, also to simulate the results. Then this research used Nonlinear Transient Finite Element Method adopted by AGOR, proceeding transient stresses and strains analysis under structure and mechanism coupling effects. Finally, this research used Fatigue theorem to analyze the life-cycle of the critical components of cycloidal speed reducer. The transmission shaft of cycloidal speed reducer was set at 1500 rpm input rotational speed. ADAMS computed results shows the mechanism works fine, the output rotational speed is only 0.06% error compare with theoretical results with no load on it, and only 0.86% of error with 137 N-m reverse load. ALGOR computed results shows the transient stresses and strains under the structure and mechanism coupling effects, and its fatigue life analysis shows cycloidal speed reducer design meet minimum 6000 hours life cycle with no load applied. However, when applying 137 N-m reverse load to cycloidal speed reducer, ALGOR cannot compute due to lack of computer resources. The results and procedure of this research can improve the design capability of cycloidal speed reducer for the related industries. |
