Popis: | 102 The purpose of this study was to explore the extent of needs for teachers of Self-contained preschool special education to participate in the operation of a professional team in Central Taiwan.This study adopts the questionnaire survey method, selecting 56 teachers of the 2013 academic year from 28 preschool-special-education classes in the four counties of Central Taiwan as the research subjects. Fifty-five copies of the returned questionnaire were valid. An “Investigation Scale for the Needs for Teachers of Self-contained Preschool Special Education to Participate in the Operation of a Professional Team” compiled by this study is used as the research tool. The collected data was processed with t-testing, and One-way ANOVA analysis.The research results are summarized as follows: A. The overall need, or the needs of each of the five dimensions needed for teachers of Self-contained preschool special education to participate in the operation of a professional team was “high”. The dimensions in the order of requirement level, from high to low, are integrated instructions, relevant professional knowledge, cooperation and coordination, the ability to work with the family, and individualized education plans for participating students. B. The level of needs of each of the five dimensions needed for teachers of Self-contained preschool special education to participate in the operation of a professional team was not significantly different because of varying teachers’ background variables “school category, service region, teaching category, age, highest level of education, seniority in special education, professional background, length of time working with a professional team, and hours and categories participating in professional team studies”. Based on the research findings, researchers made recommendations as a reference for competent education authorities, teacher training institutes, school administrations, teachers of Self-contained preschool special education, and future research. |
