Popis: | 102 In this study, a series of monodisperse functionalized polymeric microsphere with diameter of 2 to 5 um by dispersion polymerization with microwave-assisted irradiation and conventional thermal polymerization reaction in a aqueous alcohol media using as a polyvinylpyrrolidone stabilizer containing Methyl Methacrylate (MMA), Ethyleneglycol Dimrthacrylate (EDGMA), Trimethylolpropane Triacrylate TMPTA and Ditrimethylpropane tetraacrylate (DTMPA), functional monomers have been synthesized, characterized and use to investigate the effects of functional molecular stracture on the chemical and physical properties of polymeric microsphere. The influence of dose rate, monomer concentration, stabilizer content, media polarity, polymerization temperature on the polymerization rate and microwave power have been examined. Studies aimed at optimizing systhesis conditions from the point of view of preparing of possibly high monodispersity were peformed. The synthesized functional polymeric microsphere were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), 3D surface profiler White Light Interferometers, light scattering particle size analyzer, infrared spectroscopy spectrum (FT-IR) and thermal analyzer (DSC, TGA) and other functional copolymer uniform monodisperse polymer microspheres as a series of particle size, surface morphology, chemical resistance properties, identification and subsequent applications. Compared to conventional heating, microwave irradiation process shows the feasibility of monodisperse functional polymeric microspheres synthesis with high yield, strong acceleration of polymerization rate, controlled size and chemical formulation. Monodisperse functional polymeric microspheres with controlled architectures in terms of molecular size of both the MMA and the crosslinking moieties show the higher compression strength containing crosslinking moieties. Furthermore, a modified electroless nickel-plating process has been devised for the preparation of monodispersed polymer/Ni microspheres with tunable shell thickness. The polymer/Ni composite microspheres might have great potential to be used as anisotropic conductive film (ACF) materials, because of the uniform diameter, higher compression strength and good conductivity of the microspheres. |
