The research on the organization change,depression level, psychological empowerment and work morale effect of the staff of one veteran hospital after hospital merging

There are thirteen existing Veteran hospitals, which are divided into North, Central, Southern and Eastern according to the location in Taiwan. The location of the Yongkang Veteran hospital is located in the old, Yongkang city of Tainan County. According to the plans of Excusive Yuan Advisory Council, the Yongkang Veteran Hospital merged with the Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital on January 1,2012. The purpose of this study is to explore the staff of the Yongkang Veteran Hospital the impact of psychological effects including depression and the morale of the staff. Yongkang Veteran Hospital staff from the Dean to other recruit members about 500 people, Yongkang Veteran Hospital staff amounts to approximately 500, including the dean. The object of this plan is that all personnel will be invited to participate, from the chief officer to 18-65 year old employees. The plan will initially be sent to The Kaohsiung Veterans Gen Hospital, Institutional Review Board for examination and review. The program will use the Beck Depression inventory, a scale to measure the level of depression. This program will be focused on the impact of employees' psychological and depression, work morale to carry out this study. About the employee psychological impact, we will use the Beck Depression Inventory, a scale to measure the level of depression, it is divided into several levels. Then, we will analyze the psychological empowerment and job morale with the development of questionnaires to complete. Research tools will be the statistical software SPSS 14.0 for statistical analysis. The psychological significant differences of the characteristics of the all people in the hospital will be analyzed. In the past journals and theses, studies tend to focus on the measurement of a particular medical department, and did not actually get to know other medical departments or the deeper psychological phenomenon or impacts. In this study, the all people in the hospital will be included and the following research themes will be analyzed: (1) To understand the psychological impacts after hospital merging (2) to assess whether there will be differences of the psychological empowerment and work morale of the staff among different departments, and those measurements which are more significant and have a good resolution; (3) analysis and of these measurements is the reference scale, the We will also check the depression symptoms of the patient's condition by using the rating scale BECK Depression Scale, and we will collect all questionnaires to assess the relationship between the psychopathology and physiological and psychological reactions. This study is expected to include 600-650 people of the whole hospital staff. We expect that the project will be the integration of qualitative and quantitative indicators to point out certain characteristics of the different departmental groups, and it is clear that supplemented by the spirit of analysis and research to further assess all hospital staff and the roles and the condition of the all variables interactions.
