The impact of teacher well being and school climate on teachers'job satisfaction : An Example of TTEPS

The purpose of this study is to investigate junior high school teachers’ well-being for the : job satisfaction, and to explore the moderating effect in the junior high school teachers’ well-being and job satisfaction with school climate. Among them, the junior high school teachers’ well-being including a sense of accomplishment, a sense of melancholy, and interpersonal relationships. School climate including the peer support and disengagement relationship. For this purpose, the junior high school teachers in Taitung Educational Panel Survey(TTEPS)are used as the main research object. A total of 316 valid questionnaires, It used hierarchical linear model to analyze data. The results showed depression and a sense of accomplishment have significantly positive effect on job satisfaction. And peer support had negative moderating effect on depression and job satisfaction. Disengagement relationship had positive moderating effect on interpersonal relationships and job satisfaction. According the results, this study proposed some related discussion and suggestion.
