The topic of this art thesis is“Transnature˙Camouflage”. I interpret my inner sentiment in the social environment, my printmaking’s concepts are based on the camouflage idea and the ambiguity of vision. I convey a sense of uptightness and the uncertainty from outside environment by using the correlation of natural creatures. My works reveals the correspondence between self and society. I try to offer the different aspect of seeing the world for audiences. In the very first place, this thesis expounds the motives, objects and research methods. Further, the theoretical evidence is supported by the author’s reading of related literature. The academic basis, with existentialism, explains the quest for being, examines the source of mental creation with persona theory in Carl Gustav Jung’s analytical psychology, and, at last, with the concepts of Gestalt theory and surrealism, deconstructs the form and internalizes them as the creative ideas. By enunciating those ideas, the author also inspects the creation’s thematic forms, skills and materials. The interpretation of the works consists of the series of Small World, Spiritual Landscape and Bonsai, ranging from the realistic emotions to the morphed, intrinsic spirit. Lastly, the conclusion assesses if the creative objects are achieved and put forward the prospect of future creation.
