Pipeline network system is one of the most important transportation in modern world. Leak in pipeline networks always carries a huge resource wastes, pollutions and human safety problems. Thus, how to find the exact location of the leakage in pipeline network is becoming a serious issue. This paper describes how to use Time reversal method to identify the junction which has resistance in pipeline network. In the simulation models, there includes: inlet, junction with resistance and outlet. When the junction with high resistance which can be regarded as leakage. Time reversal method can reverse signal and retransmit the pressure signal back to the program, through the results, it can be tested and verified by using pressure waves to analysis the length of each junction in pipeline network. In the simulation results, the predicted lengths of pipes by applying time reversal method are 22.58m, 35.35m and 46.14m, while the actual pipe length are 23m, 36m and 47m, which have a predicted length of error are -0.42m, -0.65m and -0.87m respectively. Comparing the result, the accuracy of using time reversal method is fairly high. That means the time reversal method can be identified to detect leakages in pipeline network. However, the accuracy of the results may be impacted by some conditions such as length of pipes, the diameter of pipes and the resistance from leak and junctions, all these factors resulted in the simulation are also briefly discussed in this paper.
