A Study on the Integration of Information System Success Model and Technology Acceptance Model to Explore the Usage Behavior of Information Systems– A Case of Easy Teaching Web

From the perspective of education organization, the key factor for schools to enhance their competence depends on “knowledge” in the economy-based society. The object of Taipei Easy Teaching Web was engaged in establish a platform for educators to communicate and to integrate educational related knowledge and human resource within the Taipei City. The purpose of this study was trying to understand the behavior pattern of those who use Taipei Easy Teaching Web as teachers. The teacher has been taught in the elementary school or junior high school in Taipei City had been chosen as participants in this research. A questionnaire was developed based on theories such as Informational System Success Model (ISSM) and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The survey was conducted by paper-and-pencil questionnaire. A total of 224 valid samples were returned. The survey data were then put into statistical analyzes process. The research findings as: 1. The comparison of different groups of demographic variables such as gender, school system, seniority, teaching in public or private school, the time on internet daily etc. did not reach significant level. 2. The verification result of users to Technology Acceptance Model of Taipei Easy iv Teaching Web: (1) “Information Quality” and “System Quality” was significant related to “Perceived Ease of Use” positively. (2) “Information Quality”, “System Quality” and “Perceived Ease of Use” was significant related to “Perceived of Usefulness” positively. (3) “Perceived Ease of Use” and “Perceived of Usefulness” was significant related to “Attitude Toward Using” positively. (4) “Information Quality” and “System Quality” was significant related to “Use Satisfaction” positively. (5) “Attitude Toward Using” and “Use Satisfaction” was significant related to “Intention of Use” positively. The conclusions and suggestions were summarized according to research findings. Butter understanding of user’s behavior pattern by technology acceptance model could contribute to raise the success of the information system (Taipei Easy Teaching Web), providing references to educational organizations and school administration as reference.
