Popis: | 99 The purpose of this study is to explore the career self-efficacy, outcome expectations, career interests and career choices of the Y junior high school students in New Taipei City. The study sample is 330 junior high school students at New Taipei City, then collect data by career self-efficacy scale, outcome expectations scale, career interests scale, and career choices scale, and apply descriptive statistics, One-Way MANOVA, correlation, and structural equation modeling for data analyses. The results of the study are summarized as follows. 1.There are statistically significant differences between sex in career self-efficacy, outcome expectations, career interests and career choices of the junior high school students in New Taipei City. 2.The results of this study are matched Holland’s theory-the correlation on the same types of self-efficacy, outcome expectations, career interests and career choices, and higher than the correlation of the other types. 3.The results of SEM indicated that career choices in social cognitive career theory (SCCT) indicated that self-efficacy was positive influence on the outcome expectations, and self-efficacy was also influence on the career choices. 4.The modified models are more fit in the junior high school students in Taiwan. According to the findings, implications for career counseling and further researches were provided. |
