Popis: | 98 At present, Thai learners interested in Chinese are increasing day by day. Regarding to “teaching” and “studying” of Chinese for Thai children in many years ago, the two modes of instruction are commonly struck in employing traditional teaching method based upon unilateral lecture, instead of interactive teaching method. The purpose of this research is to foster instructor and learner in terms of informational communication and knowledge formation, and of application of acquired skill in realistic life. My research reveals that interactive mode in two-way instruction, in effect, renders a beneficial outcome. My thesis is to introduce an interactive mode of instruction for Thai-based children. The contents of instruction utilizes interactive mode as a corpus of pedagogy designed purposively for my research. The object of my case study is a group of teacher and student of a private school—“Ratwittaya School, Petchaburi” and focally explore one grade kid learners in elementary level. The study employs a methodology of participatory observation in classrooms so as to investigate the instructional circumstances between teachers and their kid learners, simultaneously uses interviewing and recording methods. The experimental period of my research is 4 weeks. My research objective as follows: (1) to analyze and gain deeper understanding on a phenomena of teaching Chinese for Thai-based kid as foreign language via an interactive mode of instruction between Thai-based instructors and learners, including fundamental modes of practical application, namely, a teaching method, a verbal communication in class between instructors and learners, game playing in corporation with teaching process. With regards to this, to raise some noticeable problems on interactive mode of teaching. (2) to analyze pre-class investigational situations and its problems, and then to analyze post-class investigational situations. With a participatory observation result and discussion, it could be a further reference for instructional method in the mode of interaction in real situations. (3) via observation, analysis, and discussion, and meanwhile by applying theories in my review of literature, chapter two, my thesis aims to develop, and design a basic set of instructional curriculum in interactive mode. Teaching Chinese in the context of interactively orientated class pedagogy will turn rote method into subject-toward and co-operational learning. My thesis proposes perspective views for its limitations and future researches. |
