Popis: | 97 The advancement of wireless communication and MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) technologies have made wireless sensor network (WSN) become an emerging technology. It greatly facilitates human life to closely interact with environmental context by providing ubiquitous sensing, computing, and communication capability. The easiest way to accomplish context awareness of WSN is to provide location information which can monitor the roaming path of a moving object[1]. For example, combining the indoor location system with wireless sensor network in the hospital, we can find and help the patient quickly by locating their positions while his/her vital sign is unusual. Therefore, we develop an indoor positioning system based on IEEE 802.15.4 ZigBee, that is a low-cost, low-power, wireless mesh-networking standard and applicable to conveniently provide the location of the patients or medical professionals. The indoor positioning system could provide good accuracy of locations and will be suitable for healthcare environment to meet the goal of improving the quality of the healthcare. |
