This research is to confer the fourth generation of mold cavity pressure sensor’s shortcomings which was made by oneself, and a new pressure sensor is improved and designed. There are two shortcomings in the fourth generation of pressure sensor: First, in order to solve the PZT problem of crack, the fourth pressure sensor uses the spring to protect the PZT. The existing commercial spring causes the axial frequency to drop to 1.7 kHz which is lower than the injection molding machine’s frequency approximately in 2 kHz. Second, The injecting time of a general injection machines is lower than 0.001 second, but when the fourth pressure sensor was pressured, the time tends to stable is 0.8 second. To disappearances, in this study, we redesign the structure of piezocrystal and the elastic element. Utilize insulation of ceramics and rigidly is strong to as the piezocrystal structure. Use the ANSYS to do the static, dynamic analysis of pressure sensor, the relation that the pressure corresponds with what the voltage outputs in the mold, natural frequency, modal shape and transient analysis.
