台中縣學前普通班教師對巡迴輔導服務現況調查之研究

Popis: | 97 The main purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of the preschool teachers’ attitudes and requirements to the itinerant service in Taichung county. This study included three dimensions: to realize current situations of the itinerant service, to investigate the satisfaction of the preschool teachers who had received itinerant service in early childhood special education, as well as to understand the preschool teachers' perspectives for improving itinerant service in this area. The participants were 281 teachers who worked in public and private preschools in Taichung county. Survey methodology was implemented. Frequency percentage, T-test, and one-way ANOVA were used to process and analyze the collected analyses. The results of present study were as follows: 1. The acceptance of approaches and contents of itinerant service, most of itinerant service started in the second week of the semester and it is a monthly service. About 40% of the preschool teachers hope that the service should increase to twice per month. 2. The acceptance of the concept of itinerant service, there were significant differences among the preschool teachers in variables of areas, size of schools, years of teaching, and ages. 3.The acceptance of the professional skills in itinerant service, the significant differences were found among the preschool teachers in variables of areas, in charge of both teaching and administrative duties, years of teaching, ages, and the number of young children with special needs in the class. 4. The acceptance of the strategies of the itinerant service, the significant differences were noted among the preschool teachers in variables of areas, in charge of both teaching and administrative duties, years of teaching, teaching experiences with young children with special needs, educational degree and marital status. 5. Top five suggestions for improving the itinerant service from the participants were as followings: 1) providing teaching materials and props; 2) the demonstration of the teaching methods;3) the appropriate teaching tactics and plans; 4) supporting from the parents or guardians of the children to the preschool inclusive education; 5) Increasing teachers' salary Finally, implications for educational practices, suggestions for future study, and limitations of the current study are also discussed. |
