Popis: | 96 The purpose of the study was to construct the reliability and validity of health and physical education cognitive test for elementary 4th graders. The objects of the study were elementary 4th graders in Taoyuan County. Using a stratified random sampling method, 757 students were selected from classes of schools in different scales. The results are as follows: 1. Based on two-way specification table and the general item designed principles, the items are equipped with content validity. Adopting the term grade of health and physical education as the external criterion, the criterion-related validity achieved a .05 significant positive correlation. Construct validity was also examined by analyzing the internal consistency and the difference with different groups of subjects. 2. After item analysis, a total of 40 test items with discrimination index (D) over .3, significance in point-biserial correlation ( rpb ), and difficulty index (P) between .25 and .8 were selected. 3. The Split-half reliability is .83, and the reliability of KR20 is .83. 4. The mean score of the test is 24.87 which is lower than the ideal score, 25. The average of the difficulty is .63 is also lower than the suspected .63. The standard deviation is 6.61, and the average of item discrimination index is .41, of the test are both higher than the ideal ones of 5 and .13, respectively. |
