Popis: | 96 The research studies the contents of the administrative works of teachers in affiliated kindergarten of public elementary school; moreover, to investigate teachers’ perception and suggestion of such policy. The subjects are the kindergarten teachers in Yilan county public elementary schools. The research used two questionnaires, targeting the research objectives respectively to state that, firstly, the researcher classified the work contents into twenty items and found that each teacher is responsible for at least one item. Secondly, over half of the subjects have to work overtime because of the administrative works and thus most of them suggest hiring a full-time administration staff. Third, the subjects suggest increasing an extra staff, compensations, or simplified the work procedures to solve the inefficiency problem. On the other hand, the teachers think that participation in administrative work enhances management experiences, establishes professionalism, and comprehends the movement of early childhood education. In addition, the social network established from cooperation activities allow the teachers to gain full trust from upper administrators. Finally, statistical tests showed that gender, marital status, seniority, class numbers are insignificant to the perception and suggestion of the teachers. Turkey’s HSD test showed that age 51 and above is more significant than age under 40 in the merits of the policy; remote/ mountain kindergarten teachers is more significant than that of country side. |
