授受表現の「自行他利・他行自利・自行自利」―言語文化の観点からー

About the question we discuss, there is a example “殺してやる”mentioned in teacher MaoFeng Tsai’s book. Generally speaking, “殺してやる” is not “利”. Why do we express in the way “自行他利”? Another situation, the words “thank you” spoken in Japanese is “助けていただいてありがとう”. But we don’t ask others help me, why do we express in the way “自行自利”? We want to discuss the questions “利” and “積極性”. Like the example about “殺してやる” and “助けていただいてありがとう”, we can’t find reasonable .explanation on school books. Generally speaking, “殺してやる” is not “利”. Why do we express in the way “てやる”? Whether we misunderstand “てやる” or the explanation of “利”is different from what we know. In the past, we misunderstand the explanation of “利” always. We think “利” represents the benefit to acceptor or the good action, but the true explanation of “利”is determined by giver who thought the behavior is good to acceptor The result of the behavior is benefited to the receiver and the giver does it voluntarily. But something benefited to the receiver maybe have misunderstandings different from the definition of the society; however, it is all right if there is benefited to the receiver. On other hand, the definition of benefits is decided by the giver. Whether it is good or not on common senses for the receiver, the giver recognizes the result of the behavior is benefited to him or her. For examples, the giver think “to kill” is benefited to the receiver, then to kill becomes benefits.
