Analysis of three-dimension heat transfer in vehicle Air-conditioning system

With the living standard improving, the people use the automobile so frequently that the people pay great attention to indoor air condition of vehicle, and comfortable degree of people. So simulation automobile air conditioner situation to improve human body's hot comfortable analysis become more and more important. In order to improve the thermal comfort within passenger vehicle requires a detailed understanding of the 3-D flow motion and thermal behavior within vehicles. In this study, application of the numerical simulation to reveal the vehicle thermal behavior in a vehicle. However, air temperature at air vent and heat capability have great relation. The air temperature at the vents are calculated using some ε-NTU theoretical equation for heat exchange, and developed a interface type software of heat exchanger capability. Finally, the air temperature relation between inlet and outlet vents was regard as boundary conditions, 3-D unsteady κ-ε turbulent model was used to simulate temperature field and flow condition of transient situation in the vehicle combined with cooling cycle analysis and conjugate heat transfer at the wall including solar radiation.
