Popis: | 94 Original UPnP network utilizes existing standards, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and XML. The devices can connect to each other, and access the services through UPnP network directly. Therefore, the users will not be required to configure devices when they are on the UPnP network. As we are moving towards pervasive computing environments, billions of users, devices, and services coexist at the same time. Information security and privacy will be the problems when users are getting complex in UPnP network. So we must make sure the right user is using the right device and then accessing the right services. We are also concerned about the sensitive information will not be eavesdropped in transmission. But the original UPnP network does not completely consider the information security and privacy issues. Therefore, our goal is to apply service authentication process to make sure the users accessing privilege, and identify users via RFID technology without modifying the UPnP severely. We also adopt WTLS as our encryption scheme to avoid eavesdropping. These schemes can improve the original UPnP security obviously. This research not only verifies the logical accessibility of the architecture we modify but also provides our experience of developing the service discovery protocol for reference in the future. |
