Popis: | 92 Shoes are the product of human civilization. With the advancement of productivity and the development of production facilities, their original function of protection has gradually evolved to that of body garnish. Furthermore, people’s need for shoes has shifted from a function-based progressively to a psychological need-based one, given that with the supplement of aesthetics, not only fitness but the formal beauty of shoes is seriously emphasized. This communication investigated the preference and focus of the objects on the samples from the psychological aspect, and the relation between each design element and form image through quantitative theory type I. First, we defined the attribute and type of a product based on focus point analysis. Line cross arrangement was applied to reduce sample number, and the construction of tested samples was conducted by 2D computer software. Then representative sensuous words were identified through approaches of questionnaire analysis, expert interview, and KJ analysis. Finally, a questionnaire with elements of constructed samples and sensuous words designed by using SD method were distributed to objects for sensuous evaluation. The results from sensuous words evaluation indicated that the public image of pumps was mature, spike-heel easy and elegant, and wedge-typed heavy. Further analysis for design elements showed that tip-head and spike-heel was most favored by both men and women, designers and non-designers, and pointed tip with wedge heel one was least liked. The relation between each design element and form image was also determined through analysis of quantitative theory type I. And through the weighing level of different pairs of words, we found out that the major influence factor for form image lies in the design of the heel, then the tip, and last the heel seat. This study listed down the elements which have more influence in regards to sensuous perception on the objects, combined with conclusion for corresponding relations between image language and design elements, in order to establish a high-heel design method for designers to refer to. |
