Popis: | 89 In the present study, the cooling effect of the four window-type air-conditioner (left-blown type, right-blown type, upper-blown type, down-blown type) with / without guide-vane and installed on different position is the principle parameter will be studied by the method of numerical simulation. The mathematical model is incorporated with the PHOENICS CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software, which was developed by using the SIMPLEST (SIMPLE Short Tend) algorithm, corrected from the SIMPLE. However, the flow field with the turbulent characteristic can be described with the governing equation. By using the finite-volume integral method transformed the governing equation to finite difference equations. In this study, the standard k-εturbulence model associated with wall function is used to solve the continuity, momentum, energy, turbulent kinetic and turbulent energy dissipation equation, which the effect of buoyancy-driven force included. According the simulated results, it is obvious that the air-conditioner with guide-vane which the temperature profile in the space, Refrigeration Ton and exhaust temperature at the outlet will be lower values than without guide-vane and the down-blown type with guide-vane installed on the wall at the position B (i.e., GDN-B) has the best cooling effect than the other types. The results might be used for improving the design of the air-conditioners and the according of the users. |
