Popis: | 84 The main subject of the present study is to investigate the influence oneffectiveness of Rotary Heat Exchanger by increasing the number of flowchannel from 2 to 4, 6, and 8, separately. A numerical finite difference method isapplied here to simulate the energy transfer between the airstreams and the rotor matrix. Then, temperature distributions and effectiveness of the rotary heat exchanger are calculated. The results show that the effectiveness can be increased by increasing thenumber of flow channels, particularly in lower capacity rate ratio of rotor matrixto cold fluid. While the capacity rate ratio of rotor matrix to cold fluid is high, the effect due to increasing the number of flow channels becomes less obvious. Inconsideration of economics and reality, the rotor including 4 flow channelsbecomes a better type. And the results also show that the influence of the physical properties in the exchanger on the effectiveness has similar tendency. |
