| Popis: | 84 Many countries in the world have already paid much regard to ecological preser-vation, landscape architecture, and recreation development when they administerand develop their rivers. As for Taiwan, its limited land makes multiple develop-ment to be the necessary tendency in river administration. So, it has become oneof the latest topics in river administration how we can make use of the space ofrivers to develop green belt and harmonize it with the landscape without breakingthe laws of water conservancy. In order not to be ruined by the flood, the scheme for the usage of the river''sspace must be carefully laid out, and we must be more careful in the selection of the site. But when there are a lot of factors to be considered while selecting the site,it is quite hard to get the definite result by way of the traditional kinds of analysic and comparison. The reserach that take the space of the activechannel of Wu stream''s median and down-stream as an example has used the geogra-phy information system(GIS) to establish this model of analysic which give weightand synthetic assessment to each related factor including meteorological phonome-non, physiography, flood control, policy, society and economy, hunanity, etc., and that have thus got seveal river areas suitable for development. |
