Popis:	The function of this thesis is to connect the lateral working practice of ’zine making with my investigations into painting and collage. By applying the notion of the “handyman” to my aesthetic mode of production, I open up an extensive, intuitive skill set foreign to traditional modes of painting. This allows my work to explore possibilities beyond the vertical picture plane, and in doing so, highlights the horizontal working plane of my process.
