Popis: In this study, the bond between corroded reinforcements and basalt fibre high strength concrete (BFHSC) was evaluated through eccentric pull-out tests on 33 corroded reinforcement–BFHSC bond specimens. In addition, comparative tests were conducted on uncorroded reinforcement–BFHSC bonding specimens. The effects of the BFHSC cover thickness, reinforcement corrosion rate on the crack width, bond strength, and ultimate slip were analysed. The results showed that the crack width increased with increasing corrosion rate in the range of 0–5%. Under the same corrosion rates, the crack width decreased with the increase of the cover thickness. As the reinforcement corrosion rate increased, the bond strength first increased and then decreased, and the bond strength was the highest when the corrosion rate was 1–1.5%. The bond strength decreased rapidly with the increase of crack width. When the crack width was 0.8 mm, the bond strength of the specimen with a crack was 21.1% lower compared to that of the specimen without a crack. The ultimate slip decreased when the reinforcement corrosion rate increased. When the cover thickness was 20 mm, the ultimate slip of the specimen with 4.93% corrosion rate was only 62.5% of that of the uncorroded specimen.
