Popis: This reflection proposal wishes to examine concepts and pratices connected with contemporary performances - artistic, photographic, theatrical or media - about bodies hit by violent death, bloody and wan, and means to get what reiterate vision of flesh and blood represents in contemporary performing arts. Reversibility between reality and fiction, which subsist in the spectator picked observing blood - real or fake - poured during the show is shown through quoted examples. Images will be compared to literary texts concerning the same topic, written in the first half of the 20th century (Paul Valéry, Antonin Artaud, Jean Genet, Thomas S. Eliot), and to the re-interpretation of Shakespeare's Macbeth by Carmelo Bene (1983).
