Results showed that psychological ownership of nurses improves their’ innovative work behaviour and task performance. Besides, innovative work behaviour was found to positively predict nurses’ task performance and further mediates the effect of psychological ownership on task performance. Health-care managers can capitalize on psychological ownership competencies of nurses to enhance their innovative work behaviour and performance.
