The preparation of the nanocomposites zinc oxide/platinum (ZnO/Pt) has attracted much attention with regard to improving the photocatalytic efficiency of ZnO, but most studies have focused on the use of ZnO/Pt in conventional powdered spherical nanocrystals only.
