Popis: This article presents the results and conclusions of a research conducted within the European project "Heritage Education for the territorial and emotional intelligence of citizens" (EPITEC) on the topic of citizenship education and the use of Heritage as inclusive resource. The starting point is the consideration based on the value of difference and, consequently, on the diversity of people and on the elements that make up the concept of "Heritage". The objective of the survey was to study and analyze the educational project called "the roots to fly". In particular, the adoption of an inclusive approach introduced by educational institutions and aimed at benefiting from the emotional bond that is established between the students involved and the assets they discover and protect was appreciated. The methodology adopted is part of a qualitative approach, through the analysis of a case study, using tools such as interviews, observations and documentary analyzes. The results and the budget of the survey attest to the importance of the Heritage as a means of activating all female students and all students in the use of different methods and sources.
