Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST omi) are a heterogeneous group of mesenchymal tumors. Etiological factors that cause GIST ome are not clearly distinguished, characterized by remarkable diversity of the clinical, histopathological and genetic features. Mitotic activity, nuclear pleomorphism, degree of cellularity, nuclear-cytoplasmic ratio, tumor size, mucosal invasion, tumor ulceration and necrosis, are factors that determine the malignancy of these tumors.
