Objective: The study describes the gradual implementation of NASF teams in the region of Anápolis and the introduction of physiotherapists in this process. Methods: This research is of a descriptiveexplanatory nature with the use of primary and secondary sources, which includes documented reports and interviews with key persons responsible for the decision, and coordination of the implementation process of NASF teams. Results: During the study it transpired that has been a great effort from the support teams to execute the job according to NASF principles and guidelines. Conclusions: The work procedures, which before were carried out focusing on the disease, now encompass a full overview of the patient. Although the introduction of Physiotherapists in this process is still in development, they are becoming increasingly fundamental within the services of primary health care. |
