Popis: Au fost scoşi în evidenţă compuşi coordinativi ai manganului(III) cu liganzi tip Salen ce posedă proprietăţi de magneţi moleculari (SMM) sau lanţuri magnetice (SCM). A fost relatat principiul de asamblare a bis(saliciliden)izotiosemi­car­ba­zi­da­ţilor similari liganzilor de tip Salen, pentru identificarea şi descrierea unor noi metode raţionale de sinteză a mole­culelor magnetice şi a lanţurilor magnetice, având în calitate de building block aceşti complecşi de mangan(III). SINGLE MOLECULE MAGNETS– Switching from SALEN type ligands to thiosemicarbazonesThere were highlighted manganese(III) coordination compounds with Salen type ligands, which exhibit single molecule magnet (SMM) and single chain magnet (SCM) behaviour. It was narrated the principle of assembly bis(salicylidene)isothio­semicarbazide similar with Salen type ligands, for identify and describe the new methods of rational synthesis of single molecule magnets and single chain magnets, which have as building blocks these manganese(III) complexes.
