The study of financial autonomy is an interesting issue in local finance management. This study evaluates and determines the level of the financial autonomy of Agadir municipality through a synthetic index developed by the interval scale index method for 2018-2022. The results of our study demonstrated a low level of financial autonomy with a high level of dependence of municipality on the transfers of the state. The municipality is unable to collect sufficient resources to financing its investments and daily services. |
