Abstract This study elucidated the unique pathological features of tissue healing by magnamosis and revealed the changes in landmark molecule expression levels related to collagen synthesis and tissue hypoxia. Forty-eight male Sprague–Dawley rats were divided into the magnamosis and suture anastomosis groups, and gastrojejunal anastomosis surgery was performed. Rats were dissected at 6, 24, and 48 h and 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12 days postoperatively. Hematoxylin, eosin, and Masson’s trichrome staining were used to evaluate granulation tissue proliferation and collagen synthesis density at the anastomosis site. Immunohistochemistry was used to measure TGF-β1 and HIF-1α expression levels. Magnamosis significantly shortened the operation time, resulting in weaker postoperative abdominal adhesions (P |
