Popis:	The article presents experimental research on communication skills and communication styles in preadolescents. The research sample included 100 preadolescents. The results of the study revealed that 24% of preadolescents have a low level of initiating social contacts, a large number of pre-adolescents are characterized by a low and medium level of developing of communication skills, as well as by deficient communication styles such as: dependent, aggressive, non-assertive and manipulative styles. The article describes the content and scientific basis of the psychological intervention program for the development of communication skills in preadolescents.
