Popis: Unruptured intracranial aneurysm (UIA) is a life-threatening cerebrovascular condition. Here the authors report altered gut microbiota including low abundance of Hungatella hathewayi in patients with UIAs, and show that supplementation with Hungatella hathewayi or the metabolite taurine prevents UIAs in mice.
