Popis: It is proposed to discuss the possibility of analyzing the humanization of childbirth movement from the concept of anti-systemic movements developed by Wallerstein (2006) in the book "Unthinking social science: limits of nineteenth-century paradigms". Our intention is to revise this concept in comparison with texts of Santos (1997, 2001), Scherer-Warren (2012) and Grosfoguel (2008). We conclude there can be a preliminary integration of the concept into the characterization of this movement, under the condition of an extension of the concept of capitalist world-economy to other forms of power relations such as patriarchalism, colonialism, ethnocentrism and sexism.
