Popis: The identity of the earliest murine in vivo lung epithelial progenitors (marked by NKX2-1 expression) is unclear. Here, the authors use single-cell RNA sequencing to define the genetic program of these lung primordial progenitors, which will improve in vitro lung specification of pluripotent stem cells.
