Faced with technologies and social networks that configure us like producers of images and texts that articulate narratives destined to constantly recreate and update ourselves through an "autopoetic" design and that, on the other hand, promote standardized, impersonal, alienating and ephemeral exchanges, Aceleraditxs, a group of young Spanish-speaking poets, assumes the political component of these technologies and proposes to hack them through the figure of a poet-programmer who designs new communities, open and collaborative models for art, in an attempt to re-socialize the atomicities created by Internet through a communality of poetry that –contrary to a nostalgic retromania of old social forms and proliferating technophobic dystopias in the midst of a civilizational crisis typical of the Anthropocene and exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic– has utopian overtones, by enabling the imaginary of a world where technology emancipate from capitalism. |
