Popis: Abstract Oral contact dermatitis is an inflammatory reaction that is not common in patients but can be caused using certain toothpastes. As a result, patients experience pain, ulceration, erythema, burning sensation, vesicles and so on. Stannous fluoride is an inorganic compound used in some toothpastes for its antimicrobial, anti‐hypersensitivity and anti‐decay benefits, among others. We present a case series of 15 patients with similar types of oral lesions who all used toothpaste containing stannous fluoride, which suggested a potential association between the use of toothpaste containing stannous fluoride and oral dermatitis.
