Popis: Total internal reflection fluorescence microscopy typically relies on opaque optical waveguides, compatible only with upright microscopes. Here, a versatile approach is reported that uses CMOS-compatible transparent chips, demonstrated for the imaging of synthetic and biological samples, including super-resolution applications.
