The helmintic are responsible for great damages in the Brazilian sheep, mainly due the emergence of the resistance phenomenon. The objective of this work was to determine the efficiency of the phytotherapy OGPC34500, incorporate to the mineral salt, as antihelmintic in sheep of the municipal district of ArapongasPR. The results demonstrated that there was not reduction of OPG for the treated group with ivermectin, already for OGPC34500 it happened reduction in 42%; 0% and 69% in the studied farms. As results obtained in the research, the efficiency of the phytotherapy OGPC 34500 was shown promising, the largest reduction of OPG happened in the property with larger consumption of salt with phytotherapy. |
